By accessing or using narayani.in (the 'Platform'), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Narayani Media Private Limited ('NT', 'we', 'us').

All articles, fact-checks, explainers, data visualisations, and editorial content published on the Platform are owned by Narayani Media Private Limited and protected by Indian copyright law and international copyright treaties. You may share links to our content freely. You may quote up to 50 words from any article for commentary, criticism, or educational purposes with clear attribution and a link to the original. While we take every effort to ensure accuracy, our content is for informational purposes. Narayani Thoughts is not a legal, financial, medical, or regulatory advisor. Do not act on information from our Platform without consulting a qualified professional where such consultation is warranted. We do not accept liability for decisions made based on our editorial content.

When you submit a tip, correction, story suggestion, or People's Voice response through our Platform: • You represent that you have the right to submit the information • You grant NT a non-exclusive licence to use, publish, and edit the content for journalistic purposes • You understand that we may or may not publish your submission • You agree not to submit knowingly false, defamatory, or harassing content • Anonymous submissions are accepted for tips — we never require identity for tip submission

You agree not to use the Platform to: • Scrape or systematically download content for commercial use or AI training without written permission • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or databases • Distribute malware, phishing links, or harmful code through our contact forms • Impersonate NT staff, journalists, or public figures • Use our fact-check verdicts out of context in ways designed to mislead • Use automated bots to submit tip or contact forms

Our content links to government portals, court records, research papers, and other sources as evidence. These links are provided for transparency and do not constitute an endorsement of any third-party website. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of external sites.

The Platform is provided 'as is' without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant: • Uninterrupted or error-free access to the Platform • That our content is complete, accurate, or current at any given moment (though we strive for this) • That the Platform is free from viruses or harmful components We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the Platform.

If you believe NT has published content that is false and defamatory, contact legal@narayani.in with the specific article URL, the allegedly defamatory statement, and the basis for your claim. We will respond within 5 business days. We take defamation concerns seriously and review all submissions internally before seeking legal advice.

We may update these terms as our platform evolves. We will notify registered newsletter subscribers of material changes by email at least 15 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka. If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect.
